I began looking for custom neighborhoods/worlds, with perhaps more lot spaces. I'm not totally satisfied with the limited in-game options I guess. Besides standard neighborhoods with empty lots, I'm not finding much.
WebTwinbrook (the town that comes with Ambitions) could definitely fit the bill. There's the swampy area with really cheap housing, there's a middle ground, and there's also an expensive area with 100k+ housing that you can replace if you like. Twinbrook has so many lots and so much room, it's easy to remake it however you like. 28 Reply WebIn Sims 3, the neighborhood is the game. There are no separate families. You can't play one family - you play the entire neighborhood at one time, but you control only one family in it. The families you don't control do their own thing. When you stop playing, you not only save all the changes to your own family, but also all the neighbors.
