All of the older unibody MBPs run their fans all the time. It's at a near-silent idle speed though. Increasing fan speeds due to load is completely normal. NettetWhen she turns it on there is a crazy amount of processes running and CPU is sitting at 90+% So far I have opened the case and cleaned the dust off, deleted all unnecessary programmes, stopped certain start up processes, and changed the fan settings. Still on start up there is serious amounts of processes and the fan issue came back after a day.
