The hole pattern on the right hand side fit for the bolt that goes over the diff. The shackle hangers for the front have to be changed to suit the longer YJ spring. The rear of the YJ frame is wider and almost all the mounts are in different locations. The swap would require a large amount of fabrication. The YJ frame is much stronger than the CJ-7.
