It was $3.99 for a Chrysler high beam floor button when I was a young man. A promaster assembly is $600+, btw, they fail all the time and if you drop it or bump it to hard it’s junk. God I miss the good old days.

The VW/Bosch style mechanical latching relay stays in the selected position (low or high) without current, same as a mechanical switch.
