WebThe collectibles in Guardians of the Galaxy are quite easily missable (at the time of writing) because using Chapter Select actually resets your compendium collectibles to whatever they were at the start of that chapter, so in order to earn the Platinum, you will need to collect all required compendium collectibles in a single run. WebIf you talk to a character it should trigger adding that item to the collection book, but chapter select doesn’t save so it doesn’t. If you do this for too many items, the only way to get lore hoarder would be to delete your entire save file and start an entire new game (new game+ won’t cut it at that point).

WebIt won't affect your current playthrough, even if you make different decisions. Bear in mind, you have to play through the entire chapter in order to get the collectibles. You can't save your game during chapter select play so you have to finish the chapter for it save the progress. Edit: I misread the post.
