WebWe have over 80 classic adventure modules which we’ve converted to 5e. Some are listed as part of a bundle (such as T1 Village of Hommlet being part of the T1-4 conversion bundle). This page lists modules that are already converted, modules being converted, and some suggested modules you could convert. Web4th edition and 5th edition are pretty different. 4e focus's a lot more on the tactical position of miniatures and generalizes the reason for effects into mechanics. However campaign wise fluff and background can be converted fairly easily.

WebI'm wondering if there is a way to convert 4e's defence system to 5e without completely breaking the game. My initial thoughts are as such: Reflex Defence = 10 + Dex or Int Modifier (whichever is higher), Will Defence = 10 + Cha or Wis Modifier (whichever is higher) and Fortitude = 10 + Str or Con modifier (whichever is higher). WebFeb 15, 2024 · Similarly, the 4e firelasher elemental has Dex 21 whereas the 5e fire elemental has Dex 17. There is no precise formula in WotC's conversion document beyond "if an ability score is over 20, drop it to 20" which is pretty useless, so it's up to my instinct and educated guess.

WebThe main difference is that in 4e, they have a lot more stuff to spend their gold on. In 5e, the intent is for magic items to never be buyable, and for them to either exist as treasure or not at all.
