WebDec 23, 2016 · The last prominent base component is black Cavendish. It's not exactly a tobacco varietal, per se, but a process combining heat, steam, and pressure. The most common leaf type used in black Cavendish is bright Virginia, due to its high sugar content — which helps it caramelize nicely into a dark, almost black color. WebSmell: smells like generic aromatic blend tobacco. No distinct vanilla note. Quite sweet smelling, i think i can detect the cavendish scent. Texture: light and airy finely shredded tobacco leaf strips. Cant distinguish the color because i smoked and packed it in a dimly lit living room. Not too moist surprisingly. Quite easy to pack.
